Placeholders let you build template-style forms with bracket tokens you fill in once.
How they look
Anywhere in your form copy you can write [brand], [project], [event_name], etc. The form builder detects these tokens automatically and shows them in the Placeholders panel.
Filling them in
Click Placeholders in the side panel and fill in a value for each token. The form will now display the real values to respondents instead of the bracketed text.
Why use them?
- Templates: Save a form with placeholders and reuse it across clients — just change the values.
- Multi-form campaigns: Run the same survey for 10 brands without rewriting every question.
- Consistency: One change updates every mention across the form.
Placeholders are stripped automatically when you save a form as a template (so the template stays reusable).
